Our Discovering Phonics Packs
So why choose our phonics packs?
With so many individual phonics resources available, it can be confusing to know which one(s) to choose – especially if you want to use different resources together.
Many online (subscription) site resources, will also have to be downloaded first and then printed, possibly cut out and laminated – all of which is time-consuming, costly and not particularly great for the environment.
As teachers (and parents ourselves), we wanted to make life a lot easier – So we designed and created our own complete ‘ready to use’ phonics early reading, writing and flashcard activity packs.
Aimed at children aged 3+, we have used easy-to-read fonts and colourful images to help make learning engaging and of course fun! All flashcards and activity sheets are wipeable and where possible we have used eco-friendly/ recycled or recyclable materials.
Our Phase 2 Phonics Home pack
This Phonics Home Pack has been designed especially for home and closely follows Phase 2 Phonics as taught in school.
Divided into 5 easy-to-use sets, it covers the first 23 letter sounds that your child will need to know, and focuses on helping them to read, write, and spell simple CVC words (words made up of a Consonant, Vowel, Consonant sound).
Our Bumper Phonics Activity pack
This Bumper Phonics Activity Pack is much bigger and more comprehensive.
Ideal for homeschooling, it covers the first 31 letter sounds that your child will need to know (all Phase 2 sounds… plus 8 from Phase 3), and is divided into 6 easy-to-use sets.
Focusing on helping them to read, write, and spell simple CVC words (words made up of a Consonant, Vowel, Consonant sound), this pack also contains many sensory resources, plus extra stories activities, and flashcards.
Our Phonics flashcards for Phase 2, 3 and 5
Our Phonics flashcard pack contains all the Phase 2, 3 and 5 sounds that are taught at school and is perfect for both teaching at home and within small groups.
All flashcards are wipeable and colour-coded into the 3 phase sets – making them durable, quick and easy to use.
Each card is double-sided: One side has the letter/ sound, and an appropriate image on it; while the other side, contains the letter/ sound and name (word) of the image.
